ANIMA JEMATIA KIGEN SIRMA
Dr Anima Sirma is a veterinary public health specialist working for the Directorate of Veterinary Services under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperatives. She has nine years’ experience and knowledge working with the food animal industry and in veterinary regulation. She recently completed her Doctoral research on assessment of risk to human health associated with aflatoxins in the Kenyan dairy value chain. The research work has contributed knowledge on risks posed by aflatoxins in the Kenyan dairy value chain and strategies to mitigate these risks.
